  • Perspective

    The Greeks imagined that we all are walking backwards into the future, watching the past unfold before us.  I think it's like being born with our noses to a wall: at first we can only see the texture of the stones; but as we back away, we begin to see patterns.  Eventually we get to see the big picture. Or maybe it is a mirror: and we learn to look beyond our own reflections.
