Her Last Days: Lucy was a terrific fighter and she lived each day with enthusiasm and joy.  The DM disease began to result in complications, and we chose to let her go while she was still happy.

Lucy was diagnosed with Thymoma, a rare chest tumor, and had surgery September 17th, 2002.  Pics of the day of surgery here.
